Broadfield Capital was founded by Managing Partner, Guy Ellis, who has over a decade of experience in helping management teams consolidate the markets they operate in.

Broadfield have established a strong track record of successfully investing in the UK lower mid market, generating strong returns for investors and truly understanding how to support a business go from £1-3m EBITDA to £5-£10m EBITDA and successfully exit.

Guy's Private Equity career started at Goldman Sachs, followed by Alcuin Capital and Rockpool Investments. In his career, Guy has invested over £55m into 7 platform investments and completed over 15 bolt-on acquisitions. Guy founded Broadfield Capital to continue his successful track record in backing exceptional management teams on their buy and build journeys. Guy and the team have an unrelenting focus on Value Creation and Exit Market Liquidity, the combination of which has led to 5 successful exits to date and with multiple businesses reaching +£100m exit valuations.

Prior to becoming a Private Equity investor, Guy spent many years as a Management Consultant helping large organisations with Strategy, Finance, Restructuring and Growth. This has led to a consultative-based approach to value creation for portfolio companies. We believe that whilst the transaction is important, it's the following 3-5 years of strategy, value creation and exit preparation that drives market-leading returns.
